Cameron’s Birthday was on SATURDAY September 12, but Cameron had to work. They only work 2 Saturdays a year and they picked him birthday for one of the days.
The kids and I slept in and once we got up we got right to work. Rio and Krey drew several pictures. Krey and I drew some circles and Krey loved it. While Rio did many interesting things, and most of her coloring was with a brown marker. She would draw all over a paper and then fold it to get a new clean spot to color on. Many of her pictures were folded with marker smears.
Krey also did his first “all by himself” picture. I was very excited.
After drawing for like 45 min. we made him a cake and then hung all of the pictures up for when Cameron came home.
That night all of us went to the RSL game and they tied, so Cameron was sad and said that he had a bad birthday. I took it as I gave him a bad birthday so I told him it was NOT a bad birthday and that if he was fine. So there you go, Cameron is now 29!

This boy just melts my heart. I LOVE him!
He loves to climb.
He loves to climb on my little kid chairs, then on the little kid table, and then stand on the table and slap his hands on my counter. Now I would think this is cute, but when he hits his hands down he leans backwards and almost falls off the little black table. Yet he thinks almost falling is great, and even more reason to smile and slap him hands harder.
Well I have moved things a round in my kitchen to keep him safer. He still climbs on the chairs and gets onto the table but that is as far as he goes.
He will climb up in this red car and then smile like he is so clever.

Hobble Creek Half Marathon
The Hobble Creek Half Marathon was my second ever. I ran the Salt Lake Half Marathon in April so I knew I could run, it but I was nervous because I really wanted to get under a 2 hour time. In the Salt Lake race I got 2 hour 14 min. and I was happy because I actually did a half marathon, but for the Hobble Creek I wanted to cut 15 min off. AHHH
I run with some awesome friends, and they helped me a lot. The week before the race I had two friends go with me to Hobble Creek Canyon and run part of the trail. It was very helpful. I worked on running down hill fast, and I was able to see what the trail would be like.
The day of the race Cameron drove me down, (he was going to run the race with me until 2 weeks before he backed out, because he had not been training). Cameron slept in the car until he was supposed to meet me by the finish line to help cheer me in. It helped having him there. I was scanning the people looking for my tall, handsome, shaved head husband, thinking that when I saw him I would be ok. Well when I saw him it was like “finally I’m at the end”, but I still had half a mile to go. The good new is I made my goal…. I did it in one hour 57 min. The race was fun and I would like to do it again next year.

For my last week of summer (because I tend a cute little boy named Jaxon) I went to see Lindsey, Dean and Josie! The kids and I went to Idaho on Monday and come home Wednesday night. We played at Josie’s, went to the park, and went on rides with dean.
You can tell from the pictures that Krey wanted to get off, but in the end he liked it. Rio has a great time with Dean. She would say “Come in here Dean” and he would. Then she would just tell Dean the same thing she had told him 3 seconds ago when he came in last time. Dean would also we got and rope him “roping cow” and then let Rio undo the rope; yes this took much longer than if Dean just did it himself.

Cameron and I had a last and final trip to finish off the summer. We went to 7 peaks. It was really fun, we road every slide but one. We would run up the stairs to get in line first. We had the system down and by the time it got busy we had ridden all of the slides and knew which ones we wanted to wait in line for. We went with my sister Emilee, her husband Johnny and Maddie and her friend. At 7 peaks you can’t bring in outside food or drink so Cameron came up with his own plan. Once we got into the park and I was getting the towels out to save our place I found this…
He makes me laugh and it saved us at lest $20.00
The 11th was meet the RSL team day! Cameron and I took the kids up to meet the RSL Team. They had the party up at Snowbird and had dinner for the family. The good new was that it was FREE!
The funny thing about Cameron is he really wanted to go and be there, but he didn’t bring anything for the players to sign and they were not letting you take pictures WITH the players until after all the signing was over. So I talked Cameron into getting a 10.00 scarf to have the players sign and also they were handing out posters so we had the players sign that too.
We took turn standing in line while the other was outside on the grass with the kids. It was fun to be in line with people that like RSL as much as you do.
A second funny thing was that one of the players was hurt and would NOT sign anything and while he was out side I saw him and asked someone else to take our pictures. The funny part was that Cameron was inside in line. Then like 2 min after that a second player was leaving the party (I don’t know why) and I got a quick picture with him too. I was so happy and excited. I thought it was the funniest thing that I saw them while Cameron was in this LONG line waiting to see them.
It turned out that the 2 players we didn’t get a signature from were the 2 players the kids and I got a picture with!
While I was out side with the kids I also talked with a guy that looked dressed up and I just thought that he was someone that worked for RSL. He was the General Manager, ya a big deal. His name is Garth Lagerway.

Up date
These days Krey is into everything, he loves to crawl ALL over and up the stairs too. he has 5 teeth and eats everything you give him. He has had milk a few times, but if you give him chocolate milk he will spit it up. I’m having so much fun watching him crawl around and learn about things. He LOVES the bathroom. He also loves to be with Rio. He has a big smile and one dimple.
Rio is being potty trained AGAIN! This time it is going much better. I have cleaned up some nasty accidents this time but there are fewer accidents over. He loves to play with cousins and friends. If she does not have a friend to play with then we play pretend. Mostly it is getting in the closet and knocking on door, and asking if you can come in. The most important thing is your name. When we play pretend one of us is Pita and the other is Olga. She came up with these names on her own. Other names that she has said are.... Owner, A.E., and then some regular names like Linda and Summer. She makes me laugh all of the time.
