One of the best parts about this years camping trip was that our Grandma Hall came!! She is fun to be around and we all admire her and enjoy her visits. This is a funny picture of Grandpa making a caft too.
The last day of camping we all went to Lava Hot Springs. That morning I kept asking people if they were Men or Mice. You were a Man if you dared jump off the high dive (33 feet) and you were a mouse if you didn't. Well I have jumped off the high dive before and I knew I was going to be able to do it again. I just wanted to get others to do it with me. To make a long story short and less embarrassing for me, I will just tell you, I’m worse than a mouse because I attempted twice at jumping off the high dive. Both times ended in me walking the walk of shame back down. I did however jump off the 2 high dive towers at 27 feet, I just couldn’t add on the extra 6 feet for the highest high dive. Still Lava was a great time, and I loved it!
The Three Amigos!!! These little girls loved being together, they picked flowers, walked to the pond, looked for candy, played in the trailers, painted ‘frocks’, made necklaces, and even took a nap together. They were in heaven with each other. And the good news, I don’t think one of them bit or got bit by each other!
The crafts up camping were… FANTASTIC! We painted rocks, with the option of adding glitter, feathers, and pom-pom balls. We made necklaces out on washers and could put on any color of paper you could think of. It was wonderful; everyone (the little girls especially) loved it. No surprise, the food was GOOD; we eat like kings when we go camping. I’m not sure if anyone was ever REALLY hungry by the time we ate the next meal. We just keep eating because everything was good. And the best part was everyone helped out with food. One extra thing Angela and I learned was about photography. It is a good idea to get lower than the people/object you are taking a picture of. Alyson and my mom are good photographers.
As you can see Krey was having a GOOD time.
Besides, being on the pond, riding 4wheelers, doing crafts and eating all the candy you could think of we also had clay pigeon shooting. While many of the boys (and Maddie) were shooting, some of the girls were dancing!!
