This boy just melts my heart. I LOVE him! He loves to climb. He loves to climb on my little kid chairs, then on the little kid table, and then stand on the table and slap his hands on my counter. Now I would think this is cute, but when he hits his hands down he leans backwards and almost falls off the little black table. Yet he thinks almost falling is great, and even more reason to smile and slap him hands harder. Well I have moved things a round in my kitchen to keep him safer. He still climbs on the chairs and gets onto the table but that is as far as he goes. He will climb up in this red car and then smile like he is so clever.

Hobble Creek Half Marathon

The Hobble Creek Half Marathon was my second ever. I ran the Salt Lake Half Marathon in April so I knew I could run, it but I was nervous because I really wanted to get under a 2 hour time. In the Salt Lake race I got 2 hour 14 min. and I was happy because I actually did a half marathon, but for the Hobble Creek I wanted to cut 15 min off. AHHH I run with some awesome friends, and they helped me a lot. The week before the race I had two friends go with me to Hobble Creek Canyon and run part of the trail. It was very helpful. I worked on running down hill fast, and I was able to see what the trail would be like. The day of the race Cameron drove me down, (he was going to run the race with me until 2 weeks before he backed out, because he had not been training). Cameron slept in the car until he was supposed to meet me by the finish line to help cheer me in. It helped having him there. I was scanning the people looking for my tall, handsome, shaved head husband, thinking that when I saw him I would be ok. Well when I saw him it was like “finally I’m at the end”, but I still had half a mile to go. The good new is I made my goal…. I did it in one hour 57 min. The race was fun and I would like to do it again next year.

This is Josie and her momma at the park. She is a very cute girl. She has great hair and a beautiful face. Josie is 3 weeks old in these pictures. She is so fun to hold and feed, I think because I can always just give her to her mom.
For my last week of summer (because I tend a cute little boy named Jaxon) I went to see Lindsey, Dean and Josie! The kids and I went to Idaho on Monday and come home Wednesday night. We played at Josie’s, went to the park, and went on rides with dean. You can tell from the pictures that Krey wanted to get off, but in the end he liked it. Rio has a great time with Dean. She would say “Come in here Dean” and he would. Then she would just tell Dean the same thing she had told him 3 seconds ago when he came in last time. Dean would also we got and rope him “roping cow” and then let Rio undo the rope; yes this took much longer than if Dean just did it himself.

Krey Patrick Cullimore White is ONE! The night before his birthday we had both grand parents over, and one set of Great grandparents. Krey had a good time and loved the paper that his gifts came with. He made a BIG mess with his birthday cake. I made two cakes one for Pat (Grandpa White whose birthday is the day before) and one for Krey. We hade left over cake so the kids ate it for breakfast the next morning, on Krey’s real birthday.

Cameron and I had a last and final trip to finish off the summer. We went to 7 peaks. It was really fun, we road every slide but one. We would run up the stairs to get in line first. We had the system down and by the time it got busy we had ridden all of the slides and knew which ones we wanted to wait in line for. We went with my sister Emilee, her husband Johnny and Maddie and her friend. At 7 peaks you can’t bring in outside food or drink so Cameron came up with his own plan. Once we got into the park and I was getting the towels out to save our place I found this… He makes me laugh and it saved us at lest $20.00
The 11th was meet the RSL team day! Cameron and I took the kids up to meet the RSL Team. They had the party up at Snowbird and had dinner for the family. The good new was that it was FREE! The funny thing about Cameron is he really wanted to go and be there, but he didn’t bring anything for the players to sign and they were not letting you take pictures WITH the players until after all the signing was over. So I talked Cameron into getting a 10.00 scarf to have the players sign and also they were handing out posters so we had the players sign that too. We took turn standing in line while the other was outside on the grass with the kids. It was fun to be in line with people that like RSL as much as you do. A second funny thing was that one of the players was hurt and would NOT sign anything and while he was out side I saw him and asked someone else to take our pictures. The funny part was that Cameron was inside in line. Then like 2 min after that a second player was leaving the party (I don’t know why) and I got a quick picture with him too. I was so happy and excited. I thought it was the funniest thing that I saw them while Cameron was in this LONG line waiting to see them. It turned out that the 2 players we didn’t get a signature from were the 2 players the kids and I got a picture with! While I was out side with the kids I also talked with a guy that looked dressed up and I just thought that he was someone that worked for RSL. He was the General Manager, ya a big deal. His name is Garth Lagerway. Also that night we road a ski lift. I took Rio and took our picture and then took a picture of Cameron with Krey. I know you can’t see Krey but I could not get Cameron to hold Krey up, Cameron was too scared. We had a great time and we got a lot of signatures and many pictures of the players. It turned out that they didn’t even have time to let you get in the picture with the players so we were glad that we got a scarf and had it signed. On our way out I had 4 raffle tickets and they were going to do one more drawings but we were leaving so I walked up to this nice man in a RSL jersey (mind you everyone had on RSL shirts so this was not a big deal). I told the nice guy we were leaving and that I thought they were going to do one more raffle and did he want my 4 tickets? Then Cameron came over and grabbed me by the arm and said, “No, come on”. As Cameron is rolling his eyes and pulling my arm the man says he didn’t need them. Turns out he was a player. This is Spencer. He works for RSL and is a really cool guy. He and Cameron are good soccer friends and always email back and forth about soccer. I made them stand together so I could have a picture of the two soccer friends. How cute.

Last week Cameron and I stayed at the Rico’s (Cameron’s Aunt). Tony and Gina went to Atlanta to find a new house, and we took care of the kids and 2 dogs. We had a lot of fun! We played dress up and attended the Alpine Day Kid’s Rodeo, breakfast, and the regular rodeo. Kai road a sheep, he stayed on for a long time too! One of the days we were at Rico’s my friends stopped over to say goodbye. The Longeneckers are moving to Nevada for medical school. It was great to see the girls for the day, Bub was already in school. I hope we can go see them soon.
