Living Planet Aquarium

1250 animals and 267 species are on display in the three main exhibits: Discover Utah, Ocean Explorer, and Journey to South America! There is always lots to see and do as you make your way through The Living Planet Aquarium. Yes I did just get the info from the web sight!! It was fun to go and the kids liked the sea horses, I really liked the Penguins, they were feeding them at the time, and it was fun to see the penguins POP out of the water. Krey is happy in this picture but just does not look like it. But I still like the shot Don't feel bad for Koen, he had a great time looking at everything three feet off the ground, even if he didn't see any animals. O and I also would like to say THANK YOU to Ashely, she had free tickets!!

"Politics MOM"

On the 23th of July our neighborhood has a "FUN RUN", for the kids. The FUN RUN is divided up into different age groups and the different ages run different lengths. Each kids gets a cookie and a Popsicle and there is water for everyone. BUT the three top winners in each age group get a bigger cookie, with their place number on it. First place gets a one on their cookies and so forth. Well this year Rio and Krey were in the same age group. I was at the start with the kids and once I saw Rio had the thing one by ten yards, I slowed down and tried to help Krey. I thought with Cameron at the finish line, and her being so far ahead, winning would be easy, and she would be fine. NO. I was cheering Krey on and telling him how great he was doing, and I even helped a kid that fell down, and then all of the sudden.... I see Rio. She has watery eyes, and was looking for me. I asked her if she fell, and she said no. Haaaa girl had the race one, and just stopped running. And to make it worse grandpa Pat was going to give her a treat if she won. It was my first moment of POLITICS MOM. I wanted to run and tell the recorder that my daughter was the fastest, and that she did have first place and should get the big cookie. Well, I just told my Rio and Grandpa Pat that Rio did win!! I don't think anything is wrong with that. Anyway these are pictures of Rio doing a thumbs up and krey trying to. Dinner first and then icecream, right?

Today for dinner I make Hawaiian hay stacks, there were okay. The kids didn't really eat them but Cameron said when they were done they could have ice cream. I cleaned up dinner and they got down BUT I left our there two plates. Well they asked for ice cream and I said I would not get it, and to ask Dad. So after a bit Cameron went down stairs to dish them up ice cream. About and hour after ice cream I went down to get Koen a bottle and Well what did I find under the red bench in my kitchen but my kids dinner plates with the food still on it. I called Cameron down and said that I know a Dad might go back on their word and give into ice cream but he would also clean up the dinner plates BUT I didn't think HE would have the children put their plates under the bench. Then Cameron looked and saw the two dinner plates and then we both just laughed because we knew our kids had got us. O man what little stinkers.

A snake

A white ago Krey and I were sitting by each other watching TV. He had is fingers in his mouth and I didn't really notice but then he turns to me and says....Mom, I have a Snake under my tongue. I smile and show him my tongue and tell him that is how God made us. A Snake...HA haha

Grandpa Norman

Grandpa Norman was asked to Ride in the American Fork Parade with the American Legion. Members are veterans of any of the wars and includes all branches of the military (Army, Navy etc.). He was in the Navy!

The 4th of July in Plain City 2011

It started out on the third, we came to Plain City for Sunday dinner and then we had an AWESOME firework show that night at my parents. On the 4th we went to the parade and then to Uncle Jerry's to swim. Cameron had to go home but the kids and I stayed until Wednesday, just sucking up all the time with mom and dad we could, plus I needed one last ride in the SHAY!

Koen

Koen is 10 months and weighs 22 pounds; I love my big baby. He has two HUGE top teeth that I loved but now that they are all the way in they make me sad becase he looks so much older. (That's new for me, usually I like my kids to get older). His helmet helped a lot the first two months but the third month his head growth slowed down. Plus if your head is in the 90% then you don't really need it to grow. His head will only get more round if it does grow so Koen will just have to keep it on for a while longer. Cameron and I have really enjoyed Koen he is such a happy fun little guy.

Green Wood

Koen and I snuck away to meet Grandma Sharon at Green Wood Mannor. That is were Grandma and Grandpa Richins live, right in Lehi
