What we did....
We started Rio’s birthday one day early by meeting Alyson and Coleen at Gardner Village, it was very fun. Rio was not to sure about the witches. Then we went to Angela’s to play with her kids. Another good time!

We had a fun party at Grandpa and Grandma Whites. Even the Great grandparents came. We opened gift and ate cupcakes and ice-cream. Then we sat around and laughed while Rio sang us songs. She would tell you to sing if you weren’t and she wanted everyone to do the actions. It was great, thank you everyone.

Nasty (but good) Stuff
Krey I love you so much. I think you’re the best baby. You are sleeping better and better every night. If you are upset it is easy to make you happy again. And most of all son I love that you have gas and boogers. Gas is good because you don’t hold it in and get all sick and cry. The boogers are gross too, but if boogers and gas are the worst thing I have to deal with then I’m only lucky, happy mom.
Now Krey these are the tools that I use to get out our boogers. You don’t like it but you breathe much better after we do booger surgery. Thank you for having gas and boogers. I love you.
Thank you Emmy
Aunt Emilee gave Rio a delightful little box of things that have made this week very exciting.
Rio has been busy coloring in her Halloween Elmo coloring book. She and I have had a good time with that. I do remind her not to put the crayons in her mouth. So now she puts the crayons down her shirt. Different, I know.
Stats
On October 15 I took Rio and Krey for their well child doctor visit. Don’t get excited, I still had to pay 2 co-pays. Anyways the Results are as follows:
Rio at 2 years is 34.5 inches long (50%), and 27 pounds (50%). So she is average. That is good for me, now if her grades are average that will not be good.
Krey at 2 months is 22 inches long (10%), and 11 pounds 14 ounces (25%). Mind you he was only 18 inches long and 4 pounds 11 ounces at birth. He has put on 7 pounds, that means Cameron and I are great parents. Please recommend us to the President.

Her own Language
Rio has been talking and talking, and I just love the little things she says. When we go down the stairs she says –Hand--, so I will hold her hand. When she says Krey it comes out –Day—and just this week it came out –Tay--. If she wants something I have, she says –Rio’s turn—or –My turn--. For swimming she says –noonin--, we have been working on this, by saying – ssssssswimming--, she now says –zzzzzzz noonin--. If Rio wants to do it herself she yells – I do it—. She is so cute, and fun to be with.

The Yard
Well today I worked so hard in the yard. I got a lot of weeds in several different piles around the yard. When Cameron came home he helped me keep making piles of weeds and I'm happy to say we arev 99% done pulling weeds! Well to get rid of the piles of weeds we could put them in the garbage can or burn them. We went with burning them. After a little gas and a torch Cameron asked for a Pepsi. I said, no this is not a party, because by then he was pouring on more gas. I said "Honey no more gas." He said, "I don't want to be here all night, and you can't have a fire with out a Pepsi. Well he got the Pepsi. Then we heard the noise. Yes it was the fire department coming to our house. Cameron put the fire out as soon as he saw "The Calvery" coming. I was worried that we were going to get a big fine. Rio and I staid in the house but we looked at the big trucks and their bright lights while they talked to Cameron. I thought if we were going to get a fine Rio and I might as well enjoy the light show. Someone across the way saw the fire and thought it was in our house, so they called 911.
Turns out the firemen were nice and so far we have not got a fine. As they left Cameron told them "Great response time!", they laughed and said, "That's what we are here for." Well it was a good day in the yard.
