Pray

Rio has been saying her own prayers at night. Cameron and I love to hear them and we obviously think it is so cute. After she prays one of us prays too to help her expand on her own little prayers, we would pray before her but she says it is her turn. Her prays go like this... Father....mommy and baby Krey, daddy, and mommy, asdklfjdslkfj, mommy and baby brother, daddy, Amen. I think we all get blessed like 3 times before she closes her prayer. **Her hair is in her face from having her head down.

Play group

On the 19th we had some little friends over to decorate cupcakes. It was fun to see the amount of candy on top of the cupcakes; the best part was the cupcakes for their dads had the most candy. Rio put some candy on her cupcakes but then just picked them off and ate them. Her dad cupcake didn’t end up with any candy at all. I actually put her cupcakes in the trash, and Cameron never got the chance to eat them. In the second pic. she is dipping her candy in her water, Mmmmmmmmm!

November 13, 2008

On November 13 Krey was 3 months old. All day long I took pictures of him doing normal everyday stuff. He is getting really big, fast, and I love it. He is a very good baby. He is eating 5-6 ounces of formula every 3 hours. He eats at 930 at night and sleeps until 6 and then eats and goes back to bed until 9. I’m so lucky!! He smiles a lot and makes noises when we talk to him. And because Rio was with Krey all day I took pictures of her too.

hair cuts

Today Rio and I got hair cuts from Kelly. Kelly cuts hair very well, and she even gave Rio a sucker! Rio didn’t even mind getting her hair cut; she just acted like it was normal. We only cut ½ inch off of her hair. Krey didn’t get his hair cut because all of his hair is falling out.

Why I like Utah tag..

Because of this.... and this.... I love to play in water and climb on rocks.

On Saturday Cameron and I went with his parent’s to lunch at the Sonora Grill, and then his Dad was going to do the “I Fly” ride. It turned out that all of us did the ride, but Julie, we couldn’t talk her into it. I was so sad because I forgot my camera, and I could have taken several good pictures. When you do “I fly” you go for 1 min., and then everyone else in your group gets their first turn. Then you get your second min. and at the end the instructor flies with you. O boy that was fun, I was laughing the whole time. It was great. I can’t wait to go real sky diving. Cameron said he had fun, but his face looked like he really nervous. Pat, Cameron’s dad also liked it, and I think I might have him talked into going skydiving with me! If anyone else is interested ingoing skydiving in May of 2009 (for mother’s day) let me know you can get on the same plane as me!

80 years!

On Saturday afternoon we were able to go to a special 80th birthday party for my grandpa. He is such a classy man, and is so wonderful to everyone, especially my grandma. Happy 80th birthday! This is grandpa bruce--he is not 80.

Soccer

This is my family at the RSL game. We are with Julie, Cameron’s mom. She was great to help with the kids. Krey was at the game, he is just hiding. Good luck RSL on Saturday in California.

Outside in November

Rio is giving the neighbor boys candy while they play in the field behind our house. She kept yelling their names while they played and she sat on her slide. The boys didn’t like it very much because they kept getting distracted by her yelling. CODY Cody….CODY CODY, Cody, then he would say “What” and then she would just look at him. Then Cody would get back to work and so would she…. CODY, Cody, Cody. It was funny. I thought they earned their treats.

Haunted House

We went with our friends to the Haunted Forest. It was very scary, I think I’m a bigger baby than before I had kids.

Trunk or Treat

Last night we went to the Ward Halloween Party. Rio learned how "trick or treat" works. She kept saying 'trick o treat' on the way home so we would give her more candy. I don't think she will forget this word any time soon. Cameron and I got Donald and Daisy Duck outfits from a friend. Thank you Maren! I think Cameron is GREAT for wearing it to the party.

Well as you can see we have been painting our house. The color is "copper coin", and we call it "burnt pumpkin". As for the shelves they have been several colors and now they are just green. We have had a good time doing it together. It turns out that I only want to be a good painter, and Cameron actually is a better painter, but probably does not want to be. While we painted this is what our kids did.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

What we did....

We started Rio’s birthday one day early by meeting Alyson and Coleen at Gardner Village, it was very fun. Rio was not to sure about the witches. Then we went to Angela’s to play with her kids. Another good time! Next stop was Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Bruce's house, their Rio opened gifts. Plus Grandma and Grandpa Hall came by so we had to show them our Halloween outfits. That night Krey and I went to see Maddie play the violin, while Rio played with cousins. We slept over at Grandma Sharon’s (just like we did 2 years ago). The next day we meet Cameron and Grandma Julie for lunch. Grandpa Pat even can by to say Happy Birthday!! When Cameron got home we took the kids swimming! It was a great birthday.

We had a fun party at Grandpa and Grandma Whites. Even the Great grandparents came. We opened gift and ate cupcakes and ice-cream. Then we sat around and laughed while Rio sang us songs. She would tell you to sing if you weren’t and she wanted everyone to do the actions. It was great, thank you everyone.

Body World

This weekend Cameron and I went to BODY WORLD. Cameron thought that is was very interesting and he was glad he went. I thought it was cool but had a bad dream that night. It was about a horse that was dehydrated and looked like the bodies. I guess I didn’t like it as much as Cameron.

Nasty (but good) Stuff

Krey I love you so much. I think you’re the best baby. You are sleeping better and better every night. If you are upset it is easy to make you happy again. And most of all son I love that you have gas and boogers. Gas is good because you don’t hold it in and get all sick and cry. The boogers are gross too, but if boogers and gas are the worst thing I have to deal with then I’m only lucky, happy mom. Now Krey these are the tools that I use to get out our boogers. You don’t like it but you breathe much better after we do booger surgery. Thank you for having gas and boogers. I love you.

Aunt Emilee gave Rio a delightful little box of things that have made this week very exciting. Rio has been busy coloring in her Halloween Elmo coloring book. She and I have had a good time with that. I do remind her not to put the crayons in her mouth. So now she puts the crayons down her shirt. Different, I know.

Here are the Halloween Socks she sent. They have little kitties on them, Rio thinks that is great. Also they are accented with bright pink puff balls. It was only 5 min. before she had one of those balls ripped off, and in her mouth to taste.
