Tuesday Night

On Tuesday night, as I was putting Rio to bed I told her that in the morning it would be raining outside. Rio was excited, and asked, MOM WHERE IS THE UN-GRIL-A, I NEED IT FOR OUTSIDE. I told her that I thought I had a red one, and that we would look for it in the morning. Tuesday morning came and I went into get her and the first thing she said was, MOM IS IT RAINING OUTSIDE? I told her it was. UA MOM, LETS GO GET THE UN-GRIL-A, OK MOM. We found the umbrella and I had her get her boots on to keep her feet dry. There was no time to get dressed, she needed to get outside and fast. Just checking it out. Turns out it was too cold to go outside, and she needed 2 jackets. Now she is ready! Must get back the un-grila from brother. Ya, it is still cold. She just wants to take a picture of us instead of going out in the rain, I know I look GOOD.

summer 2009

Here are a few pictures from summer of 2009. I got them from Julie’s camera. A good bye party for the Rico’s; Kai’s last soccer game the night before they flew to Georgia; Rio got stung by her first bee that same night; The BIG Healey reunion with all of Grandpa Healey’s brothers; And just a few pictures from Grandpa and Grandma White’s house.

Rio took this picture of Cameron and I up at Grandpa Healey's Cabin. We drove up friday night after Cameron got off work and then came home Saturday morning. It was short but great! I had more pictures of Krey on these stairs but we took them in "movie mode", so they didn't work. he really had the best time climbing and climbing these stairs. he loves to climb up and then yell at you and smile! Look at my girl, she kills me. This is Krey climbing again, but look at Rio. She was jumping from the stairs to the chair, funny hu.

Rio's e-mail

I told Rio what to draw…. Mom: Draw a circle for the head; now draw a big circle for the body, now you need to legs and 2 arms. Rio: what about a smile? Mom: O yes, you need a smile and 2 eyes and a Rio: nose. Rio was with me when I was talking about e-mails with a friend, then the friend and I exchanged e-mails. Well then Rio needed to write hers down too. Rio's email is at the top of this second picture. I think it was a great address. Also with her address she drew a picture. If anyone needs to e-mail Rio go right head, and she might just draw you a picture too.

This is what happens if I don't clean up lunch FAST. Krey climbs up and eats a second lunch. I know I feed him enough, but he will always eat more.

Pretending

Rio is into PRETENDING and I just love it. She pretends that she is “in Gretchen’s trailer” “going to her Grandparents” (whose names are thoopa and toolth) or “store”. I love all of these pretend places she makes. I love to see where her locations are. She can just about turn any corner into a different world and as long as she can bring in her blocks she got form the Rico’s and her doll. Many times she will dump all of the play food into the little hut with her. Cameron on the other hand is worried, worried that she might not come out of these pretend worlds, and that she might go wired

After Church walk....

After church and a nap we drove up American Fork Canyon to Timpanookie. We love to go up there, and this time I had my camera! And just so you know the ORANGE for 3 of the 4 of us was not planned, nor did we mean to leave Rio out. This is where Cameron thinks we will live when we get to make our own world. He doesn’t think you couldn’t make a better place than this little nook.

29 years old!

Cameron’s Birthday was on SATURDAY September 12, but Cameron had to work. They only work 2 Saturdays a year and they picked him birthday for one of the days. The kids and I slept in and once we got up we got right to work. Rio and Krey drew several pictures. Krey and I drew some circles and Krey loved it. While Rio did many interesting things, and most of her coloring was with a brown marker. She would draw all over a paper and then fold it to get a new clean spot to color on. Many of her pictures were folded with marker smears. Krey also did his first “all by himself” picture. I was very excited. After drawing for like 45 min. we made him a cake and then hung all of the pictures up for when Cameron came home. That night all of us went to the RSL game and they tied, so Cameron was sad and said that he had a bad birthday. I took it as I gave him a bad birthday so I told him it was NOT a bad birthday and that if he was fine. So there you go, Cameron is now 29!

The new spot!!

Rio just found out that she can fit in this little spot. She ran and hid there while I made lunch. Krey saw her and wanted to try it out too. I love my kids!

Last night we got to have the Longenecker girls come sleep over! It so fun to see them, because they have just moved out of state. The little girls LOVED being together and had a blast. the mom also had a wonderful time and so did the little babies. We hope they come back soon!
