Chicks

Jaxon's mom (Steff) brought over these baby chicks from her second grade classroom for the kids to see. The pictures tell the story pretty good I think. Will Krey pet a Chick?

My sweet Girl?

I was going to add some pictures of her art work as of late, but my camera is NO more. A conversation between Rio and I while we were getting ready to go outside. Rio: I want to play in the front yard. Me: No we are going to play in the back yard Rio: (Whinny) No, I want to go out in the front yard Me: Rio No, and don't whine, you can stay inside or you can come to the back yard. Rio: If you go outside then I will hurry to the front yard. Me: If you do that then you will get a spank and go to bed all day. Rio: I'm not going to talk to anyone Me: Ok go up to your room About 3 min later Rio comes down and to the back door where I'm at, I come inside and we sit down to talk about why we are in the back yard/kids/talking nice to me. One day we are out in the back yard and Rio was playing soccer and wanted me to yell GOAL when she scored. So I go along with it and all is great. Then she tells me she is United Stated of America. I say "Oh, your team is the United States that is great." Who are you playing? Ecuador? No Mom, I'm playing soccer.

Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend. The kids got Easter buckets and found eggs at out house, and then we went to an Easter lunch at Grandma Sharon's. We love to visit Grandma Sharon's. On Sunday we watched the last two sessions of General Conference, ate lunch and then we headed down to MOAB! It was so fun to get away and be where it was warm. On Monday we went to the Arches and drove around. We explored the little hikes/walks that the kids could do. We had alot of fun. That evening we went swimming and all slept well that night. On Tuesday we finished up at the Arches and then headed home. It was great! While we were on vacation (in southern Utah) it was snowing in the north, so we missed the dreary weather - Yeah!! I really wanted to do something over Easter before I got too sick with this baby and it worked out just wonderful. By the way the doctor thinks our third baby is a boy, he said it was a boy but didn't sound too confident so I'm going with 90% sure it is a boy, we are really excited. These are our Moab pictures. It was GREAT and I loved it. THe kids also got to wear their Easter glasses all day. Pictures from Easter. Cooking with Grandma Sharon, and eating frosting with Grandpa Bruce. Playing with Gretchen's pet pig thing. Singing into the water sprayer. What a great time it ALWAYS is in plain city. These are pictures I took of the kids for Easter and to put up around the hosue. I know they look great so if you want me to take some of your kids, I will for 400.00. NO No I wont sorry. But I think they will work just fine, plus I like real life pictures and I guess that is why I take them myslef. haha

Atlanta

Rio and Krey are showing their support for Atlanta. Grandma and Grandpa White gave Rio and Krey these Atlanta Georgia shirts! I think Krey looks older in a black shirt. Then we just went outside and played in the cold. I hope warm weather comes soon!

The Green DAY

This St. Patrick's Day was GREAT!! We got dresses up in our new green shirts and had a fun green dinner that included; green salad, green beans, green jello, green pop, green home made rolls, fresh green mashed potatoes, and green ranch. But we did have brown gravy and brown meat. To end the dinner we had green cup cakes. We had grandparents and great grandparents and cousins over! The best part was my gravy was not working for a min and then it just all came together!! What a lucky day.

Baby....Today? or a while?

Rio now knows that I'm going to have a baby and it turns out that SHE is going to have one TODAY. I told her to go lay on the couch because you get tired when your going to have a baby, so she did. Then she got up and went to the potty. I asked her if she needed to go poop. She said NO, I jsut have to go potty before I have a baby, that is what the Dr said. So there you have it. Yes, Cameron and I are nervous for her, and all of the crazy things that she thinks.

Grandma Sharon

What a great surprise when Grandma Sharon called and said she was on her way to our house!!! YES, we have missed her! When she came, just her and I went to some stores, and then we made cookies with the kids. They are my favorite cookies when they are a little under cooked and then frozen. It was so nice to have grandma down to change up our day!

March SNOW

SNOW AND LOTS OF IT!! We had a great time making a snow girl (me) and a snowman (Cameron). It is a good thing I took the picture when I did because they melted very very fast. It was extra fun because our neighbors came out to play too and they helped us.

The NEXT Day

My Mother cut my hair, and thought it looked OK, it was little short, but a good cut. Then my Dad came home, and just wanted to fix it up a bit, and it turned into a mohawk! My Dad just wanted to leave it as a mohawk for a while, but my mom said NO. They had to "Rock Paper Scissors", to see who would win, and my mom did. Now I just have a shaved head because that was the only thing left to do. Krey

The Cabin

This last weekend we went to the Cabin with Uncle Gary and his family. We just drove up for the day but had a great time. Uncle Gary would take a load of people to the top of a 1.5 mile mountain road on his 4 wheeler and then you could ride a slide all the way down. Cameron took the kids but only Rio and Cameron made it all the way down. Krey struggled and had to ride the 4 wheeler down. It was really fun to watch. I didn’t slide down because I’m pregnant and so I had to play it safe. Then Gary carried Krey up to the cabin and Cameron carried Rio. We could not drive up the driveway because there was TOO much snow so we snow shoe up. We could not keep this girl our of the snow. Rio and Cameron taking the HARD way up. Here is Nicole driving the 4 wheeler This is Aunt Consuelo on the sled. I didn’t get any pictures of their boys but they were there too. Me and My Girly man, next year we will get him boy snow clothes. This is some "sparkly snow", on the drive up Rio asked why the snow was sparkly.

Ward Dance

This February 13 the men in our ward planned a surprise valentine dance for their wives. I thought I was going to dinner with Cameron and my parents but then he drove me to the church and I was happily surprised. It was decorated great and the chocolate fountain was delicious. Plus My date was a very good dancer!

The Pool

We have not taken our kids swimming in a long time and this time I forgot the camera and these are the best pictures I could get. Rio was great, just going everywhere and going down the slide by herself it was fun to see her play. Krey on the other hand, would of just been happy laying in his life jacket the whole time, but after a while we got him out and he did really good too, well as good as an 18 month old can be.

Belle outfit

One day Rio was lent this “Belle” outfit. She was in heaven. She then needed to go out side and do some work. This girl kills me. I am worried about her attitude and body language but what can I do for now.

Oreos

Because good moms feed their kids pancakes, and then Oreos. While GREAT moms just feed their kids Oreos. Today I’m a good mom.

The Halls

The other weekend we were at my brother’s house and all of the kids were playing. Casey got a hold of a karaoke toy and had a great time with the kids singing into it. He told them what to do and would let them talk sometimes. When it was time to go home it was raining and Rio needed an umbrella. Casey rigged her up a poncho but because she thought she still needed it, he gave her the umbrella for the night. Needless to say we didn’t get wet walking from house to the car or from the car to grandmas house.

hats and houses

One night the kids found our hats and a different night they made houses out of laundry baskets and were every proud of themselves. I guess I am too!
