Family Trip

This month we went on a family vacation to Slat Lake, it was great. We stayed two nights at the Marriott and went to the zoo, book stores, running expos and temple square. The best thing was the swimming, the kids loved it and so did we. Funny thing is that I have not had camera that works really well for several months and the day we got home from our vacation I just bought me a new one, funny hu. Well maybe that is why I took so many pictures of my kids all in the tub. By the way, this is the first time they ALL got into the tub together. I think you can see my kids personalities in these pictures.

Krey is so cute, he loves to be the "Bad Guy" and "run really fast", he can drink all the time and still need more, but at Grandma and Grandpa White's he never eats dinner well. When Krey is in trouble he says.."Are you not happy with me?" I just love him. Then when he wants to know if things are ok again he says..."Mom, you not sad at me anymore?" One Day Krey was having a hard hard day, just crying over many things and around lunch he was crying again and I said. Krey why are you crying now? and he looks at me and then back at his hand and holds up his pinky and says "this one little finger mom." He was upset because his pinkey was so much smaller than the rest of his fingers. I smiled and told him that it was called the little finger and that my little finger was small too. Then I put him down for a nap. O day Rio was mad at krey and she says: "Mom, krey thinks Im happy at him, and Im not." At Koen's 6 month app our Dr thought that we should take Koen to see about getting him a helmet, well we was four standard deveations from average and I wanted him to get one to that his head would be round so we did. Febuary in Plain City

Last week the kids and I went to Grandma Sharon's house. We had Lindsey and Josie meet us there and we enjoyed our three days up north! Wednesday we went to Angela's and played at her house and then that night the four sisters went to Burger Bar, a little burger joint in Roy that our family sometimes would eat at when we were little. It was GOOD. Thursday we played at Mom’s and went to see Grandma Alda, she made cinnamon rolls so we had to go back again that night to get one of them to eat!! Casey took all of the kids for an hour while Lindsey and my mom and I went to get a roll at Grandma's. When we went to pick the kids up from Casey we took them all back to Grandma Sharon's for a PJ party. We played red light green light, leap frog, duck duck goose and pretended to be animals. To finish off the PJ party we read books. Friday morning Grandma Sharon held a tea party and then we went to clean Alyson's house. After lunch we went home; It was a great time and I will miss doing that when my parents go on a mission but I'm very proud of them.

Koen

This little guy just might of had his "First Bath" recorded when he was 4 or 5 months old. He also might have the least amount of pictures taken of him. He might grow up feeling shaded because he didn't get a "baby book" with all of his “firsts” listed in it. BUT this little guy has been my most favorite baby, the most happy baby, the biggest baby and a true joy to have around. So when he tells you he was not loved because he didn't get the traditional "stuff" as a baby you tell him that he is fine and his mom and dad liked him BEST.

Love dAY

For Valentines we had a nice dinner at home and ate cupcakes we made in the day with Jaxon. I took a picture of Rio, Krey, and Jaxon on my phone and sent them to Cameron but what do you know, Krey's didn't work. We put food coloring into the batter and made the cup cakes three different colors. Our family got a little portable radio to play CD's on for valentines day and by the 16th of February the antenna was broke off. What can you do.

My Birthday

This year was my GOLDEN Birthday. I turned 28 on the 28th! I always love birthdays, especially mine!! This year Cameron took me to dinner and I really thought we were going home after but he tricked me and took me to a hockey game where we were going to go ice skating, but watch a game before, (that is how he put it). Once we got to the Maverick Center my family kept showing up, it was such a surprise and so much fun. After the Grizzlies won, several of us stayed after to ice skate. What a great golden birthday. Also I got RSL season tickets for my birthday!! I was very very happy to get them.

Rio talk

Today Rio asked, “Mom, can Tyler and Emile come over and play?” “No honey Tyler has to go to school but we can call Emile (Tyler and Emile are brother and sister, Tyler 5 and Emile 3).” “Well mom, can we just call and ask Tyler and Emile to come over?” “Rio, Emile can come over but Tyler has to go to school.” “But mom can TYLER and EMILE come over?” “Rio, NO TYLER can't come over, he needs to go to school, we can call Emile.” “ .......Tyler has better ideas, mom.” Sister Lynes asked Rio's preschool class what they would do if they saw a bear in the woods. One boy said he would talk very soft to it, then Rio said....Kill it. Sister Lynes daughter then said ...ya kill it. Well what can you do when your grandpa plays bear hunt with you, and your mom decorates with animals your Dad has killed? Today the kids got up at 6:45, Cameron put them back to bed but at 7:05, Rio came into my room and said, that Krey was eating in bed, and she couldn't sleep? I was thinking.... What? he is eating, did Cameron give him bread and put him back to bed? Then Krey walks into my room with one hand like a bowl and the other hand picking out PRETEND food and eating it. It was not real food, it was not even play food. I turn to Rio and said, It was pretend food, she says.....Well, I heard him eating for REAL.
