The NEXT Day

My Mother cut my hair, and thought it looked OK, it was little short, but a good cut. Then my Dad came home, and just wanted to fix it up a bit, and it turned into a mohawk! My Dad just wanted to leave it as a mohawk for a while, but my mom said NO. They had to "Rock Paper Scissors", to see who would win, and my mom did. Now I just have a shaved head because that was the only thing left to do. Krey

The Cabin

This last weekend we went to the Cabin with Uncle Gary and his family. We just drove up for the day but had a great time. Uncle Gary would take a load of people to the top of a 1.5 mile mountain road on his 4 wheeler and then you could ride a slide all the way down. Cameron took the kids but only Rio and Cameron made it all the way down. Krey struggled and had to ride the 4 wheeler down. It was really fun to watch. I didn’t slide down because I’m pregnant and so I had to play it safe. Then Gary carried Krey up to the cabin and Cameron carried Rio. We could not drive up the driveway because there was TOO much snow so we snow shoe up. We could not keep this girl our of the snow. Rio and Cameron taking the HARD way up. Me and My Girly man, next year we will get him boy snow clothes. This is some "sparkly snow", on the drive up Rio asked why the snow was sparkly.

Ward Dance

This February 13 the men in our ward planned a surprise valentine dance for their wives. I thought I was going to dinner with Cameron and my parents but then he drove me to the church and I was happily surprised. It was decorated great and the chocolate fountain was delicious. Plus My date was a very good dancer!

The Pool

We have not taken our kids swimming in a long time and this time I forgot the camera and these are the best pictures I could get. Rio was great, just going everywhere and going down the slide by herself it was fun to see her play. Krey on the other hand, would of just been happy laying in his life jacket the whole time, but after a while we got him out and he did really good too, well as good as an 18 month old can be.

Belle outfit

One day Rio was lent this “Belle” outfit. She was in heaven. She then needed to go out side and do some work. This girl kills me. I am worried about her attitude and body language but what can I do for now.

Oreos

Because good moms feed their kids pancakes, and then Oreos. While GREAT moms just feed their kids Oreos. Today I’m a good mom.

The Halls

The other weekend we were at my brother’s house and all of the kids were playing. Casey got a hold of a karaoke toy and had a great time with the kids singing into it. He told them what to do and would let them talk sometimes. When it was time to go home it was raining and Rio needed an umbrella. Casey rigged her up a poncho but because she thought she still needed it, he gave her the umbrella for the night. Needless to say we didn’t get wet walking from house to the car or from the car to grandmas house.

One night the kids found our hats and a different night they made houses out of laundry baskets and were every proud of themselves. I guess I am too!

Happy birthday to ME

"PULL IT ONE MORE MILE." This Photograph was taken about 1917 in an underground mineshaft. The horse was totally blind, as were all such horses due to a lifetime in total darkness. It is the most impressive image I have ever seen. It depicts the American way of life and the effort it took our forefathers to build this great country. Often, when I have been discouraged and despondent beyond words. I have looked at this picture and said to myself. "I will pull it one more mile." With that attitude in mind and with an average amount of intelligence, any person can certainly make a success of their life in this land of free enterprise. Ross Taylor This is the picture Cameron gave me for my birthday. I just fell in LOVE with it. He is very good about giving thoughtful gifts. My Grandma and sister Lindsey came down for lunch and a visit on my birthday too! Several of my girl friends stopped over to wish me a good day and they really made me feel special. Thank you so much everyone for a wonderful birthday. Im 27 and Im very happy!!! This is also what I did/get for my birthday/Christmas.

Krey

This is Krey’s LOVE. He would be so happy if I would just let him do this all day. Any time my bathroom is open he goes right in and gets out the tooth brush and the tooth paste and goes to town. I don’t think he is good at brushing he just likes to suck the tooth brush and eat the tooth paste. I now have to hide the tooth brushes in the closet so that he does not get all of them and take them around the house or even worse clean them out in the toilet. Krey is so cute. I knew he was in Rio’s room but I was not sure what he was doing and when I found him he was just playing on the floor like a good little boy.

Rio

Rio’s Hair Schedule Most mornings when I do Rio’s hair she needs to brush it for a while. So while I pull half of it up into a pony tail while she brushes the other side. Then when I’m done with my side she needs to run the comb through her side 3 more times (because she is 3) and then I can finish her hair. Make up This is my beautiful daughter in her mermaid outfit with her best makeup on. She did get pretend makeup for Christmas but she didn’t know where it was and she just needed a little of mine. I think maybe I will let her wear make up all the time.

Rio working in the snow

This is Rio working on our yard; she just felt like she needed to shovel the snow. She moved several piles around and worked very hard. I’m sure her back and arms will be sore tomorrow. One time she lifted the shovel right above her head and all the snow came down into her face and hair. It was funny to watch, but after that she came in.

Mommies Rock!

I went over to my friend’s house and it all just started with a little food, followed by a little talking and some laughing. Before I knew it I was the drummer in a Mommies Rock Band. What a fun time, plus I loved the drums and I think I did a pretty good job playing them.

Living Aquarium

A few weeks ago I went with Amy and all of our kids to the Living Planet Aquarium and had a great time. It was the opening day of the sea horses and we didn’t even know it! It was really cool and the kids loved it.

This is just a regular morning eating breakfast but with out the high chairs. Krey, Jaxon and Rio

This is what my kids looked like one night after chocolate ice cream. If you look and you don’t have to look to close you will see a chocolate line above Rio’s eye brows. She had the bowl in her face as close as she could get it.
